Digital media and technology is evolving at a rapid pace, bringing with it amazing opportunities as well as real risks for students. On the positive side, young people are using the Internet and mobile technologies to create, connect, explore and learn in ways never before imagined. This unit is designed to empower students to be good citizens in a digital age. They will explore the following aspect of digital citizenship: self-image & identity, relationships & communication, digital footprint & reputation, cyber bullying & digital drama, information literacy, internet safety, privacy & security, and creative credit & copyright.
